Nascence Group is seeking an experienced Business Development (BD) professional, in Baltimore, MD, to expand our presence in existing markets and venture into new territories. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and fostering strategic partnerships.
Responsibilities:
1. Utilize Nascence methodologies to drive business growth and expansion.
2. Identify and assess opportunities that align with the company's strategic goals and objectives.
3. Engage with potential clients to understand their needs, gather intelligence, and shape acquisition plans accordingly.
4. Actively participate in team-building activities and contribute to the growth of our partner network.
5.Contribute insights and participate in strategy sessions to enhance our business development approach.
6. Attend bid gate reviews and provide valuable input to optimize our pursuit strategies.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
2. Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated success in business development within the Federal Government sector.
3. Proven experience in pursing task orders.
4. Strong understanding of the business development lifecycle, including, qualifying, and targeting opportunities for capture and pursuit.
5. Excellent interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and business acumen.
6. Demonstrated communication skills with potential clients, including the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
7. Established industry relationships and proficiency in team building.
8. Confidence and experience in interacting with senior executives.
9. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive, and multitasking environment.
