Job Description: Certified Arborist

We are a leading landscaping and tree care company committed to enhancing the beauty and health of outdoor spaces in Glendale and surrounding areas. We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Certified Arborist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct tree assessments to evaluate health, stability, and safety.
• Develop and implement tree care plans, including pruning, fertilization, and pest management.
• Perform landscape vegetation and grounds maintenance services, including:
  • Pruning and shaping trees and shrubs.
  • Controlling weeds and fertilizing.
  • Cleaning various areas, including sidewalks and road/parking areas.
• Apply herbicides in accordance with best practices.
• Maintain and repair the irrigation system to ensure optimal performance.
• Educate clients on tree care practices and the importance of proper maintenance.
• Ensure all practices align with good horticultural and commercial standards suitable for the Phoenix area.
• Operate and maintain equipment used for tree care and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Certification as an Arborist (ISA or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in arboriculture or tree care.
• Possess a valid herbicide and pesticide applicator’s license under the Arizona Pest Management Division.
• Strong knowledge of tree species, growth patterns, and best care practices.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
