Nasco Healthcare is recruiting for a NEW Distribution Center located in El Paso. This new center will provide customer fulfillment, receiving of materials and maintaining inventory. Nasco Healthcare is leader in manufacturing healthcare products, and is expanding to the El Paso area. Basic job functions:

. Follow up orders from Team Lead and in his absence direct, guide all warehouse associates to comply with safety, attendance, daily work completion as well as keeping a good process of housekeeping and procedures as required by the company.

· Experience receiving all incoming freight and shipping of outgoing freight for Domestic and International customers.

· Working knowledge of computerized inventory systems (preferably AS400 / INFOR XA)

· Pick finished products to be shipped as per customer order in a timely fashion, stage and prepare paperwork accordingly.

· Experience utilizing Guns-Scanners for all shipping-receiving activities.

· Safety and efficiently operate forklift, order picker and motorized pallet jack, use of a safety harness when operating an order picker is mandatory as well as utilizing a safety belt when operating the Forklift.

· Experience in “cross-dock” functionality for receiving products, raw materials and prepare Customs paperwork for Exportation on a same day basis.

· Experience conducting daily Cycle Counts.

· Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and carry at least 15 lbs

· Able to understand storage procedures and locations.

· Able to perform basic picking procedures of materials/ bending, lifting, carrying, climbing

· Good working skills with co-workers.

· Able to operate UPS/FedEx postage machine

· Two years minimum warehouse management experience

· Working knowledge of bar code readers / scanners

· Must possess demonstrated organizational skills

· Forklift licensing will be required

· Ensures full compliance with ISO 9001 quality procedure standards.

· Must be able to follow basic safety rules, accurately follow procedures and be detailed oriented.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

· Bilingual must read-speak English and Spanish

Job Type: Full-time
