What you will do
Analysts will need to perform reliable and high-quality financial, analytical and database work relating to market data and billing systems and to help drive business efficiencies and directly contribute to the growth of the UTP Plan business. The Analyst will lead the day-to-day operations customers’ data requirements and coordinate with market data vendors to ensure business needs are aligned with Nasdaq policies.
Each month, the Analyst will onboard new customers, interact with a variety of high-profile clients, and collaborate with finance, technology, legal, and other internal departments. The position also involves:
- responding to customer inquiries on billing, contracts, data licensing approvals and product related questions
- working with customers to ensure prompt receipt of delinquent usage reporting and payments
- generating management reports, and reviewing accounting and system reports for billing accuracy and completeness
What We Expect
- Education required: Bachelor’s Degree
- Moderate experience with Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to autonomously perform multi-task work responsibilities in a time-sensitive environment
- Desire to work with external customers
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details
- Ability to grasp complex products and pricing models quickly to enhance operational effectiveness
- Display a logical approach, critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to identify the root cause(s) of a problem
What Would Be Helpful
- Experience with advanced MS Excel skills such as lookup functions, pivot tables and mail merges
- Knowledge of HTML
- Experience with Power BI/ Tableau/Excel Macros
