We have an exciting opportunity in the Nasdaq Corporate Communications team to lead communications in support of our business units that serve the institutional investment community with leading solutions across Index, Investment Analytics, and Data.
With a mission to empower the investment community with actionable insights and technology to drive better outcomes, Nasdaq’s Investment Intelligence serves over 2,000 asset managers, 1,000 asset owners and consultants, and more than 1,500 banks, brokers, and industry participants.
In this role, you will be working closely with a wide range of internal stakeholders including our business leadership, marketing & sales, legal & regulatory teams to help craft impactful strategic communications plans that help further elevate our business, our brand, and our leadership teams and position Nasdaq as the industry leader.
This role will sit inside Nasdaq’s Business Communications function and will work closely with other business areas including our communications colleagues that support our Listings and Markets franchises. You will also work closely alongside a wider team of experts across internal communications and social and digital media, capabilities that will further support and enhance your ability to drive meaningful impact for the visibility and reputation of our institutional investment businesses.
We are looking for a passionate and experienced communications professional with deep expertise working in the institutional investment industry, ideally with proven expertise reaching asset owner and asset manager communities including through industry-focused media outlets, conferences, and related platforms.
You will be reporting into the Associate Vice President, Head of Business Communications at Nasdaq.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Serve as the corporate communications lead for the Index, Investment Analytics, and Data business segments and drive the development of strategic and impactful communications strategies designed to drive the visibility, perception, and reputation of Nasdaq and its leadership across these areas.
- Develop, maintain, and grow strong relationships with top-tier as well as key trade media outlets that serve the asset owner and asset management communities.
- Develop creative, newsworthy, and impactful media campaigns featuring our data, index and analytics solutions
- Write and review communications materials including press releases, pitches, and thought leadership content
- Arrange, facilitate, and manage media briefings with key spokespeople
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across several functional areas on campaigns, product launches, client wins, and milestones
Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public affairs, journalism, or a related field
- 10 years of demonstrable experience in the asset management and investment space
- Excellent communication, presentation, relationship management, and writing skills
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to manage multiple stakeholders and multitasking campaigns
- Self-starter with the confidence and ability to manage initiatives and come up with new ideas

The base pay range for this role is $111,000 - $150,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
