We have an exciting opportunity in the Nasdaq Corporate Communications team to lead communications in support of Nasdaq’s Listings business.
As the first electronic exchange, Nasdaq has a rich history of innovation and industry leadership. Our Listings business today serves over 5,000 corporate clients across our listings business combined with the capabilities we provide to help corporate clients as they navigate their life on the public markets, across Board, IR and ESG Advisory solutions.
For this team, we are looking for a new colleague specifically focused on building, enhancing, and deepening our relationships with the next generation of businesses and business leaders as they move from the private towards the public markets. In this role, you will be working closely with a wide range of internal stakeholders including our business leadership, marketing & sales, legal & regulatory teams to help craft impactful strategic communications plans that help further elevate our business, our brand, and our leadership teams across the start-up landscape as well as the investment community and the wider advisor community that are critical partners to companies as they move into the public markets.
This role will sit inside Nasdaq’s Business Communications function and will work closely with other business areas. You will also work closely alongside a wider team of experts across internal communications and social and digital media, capabilities that will further support and enhance your ability to drive meaningful impact for the visibility and reputation of our Listings franchise and the ways in which we support clients to succeed.

Your Role and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a communications and engagement strategy designed to increase Nasdaq’s visibility and relationships with all key stakeholders at the intersection of private and public markets, with a keen focus on further elevating Nasdaq’s position and deepening relationships for Nasdaq’s leadership team across this space.
- Develop, maintain, and grow strong relationships with top tier as well as key trade media outlets that reach key stakeholders across the private markets from companies at all stages of maturation to the private equity, venture capital, and corporate advisory community.
- Support the Listings leadership’s new business development goals through joining client pitches and helping raise the profile of new and prospective clients.
- Develop creative, newsworthy, and impactful media campaigns featuring Listings business, our leadership team, and our clients.
- Write and review communications materials including press releases, pitches, and thought leadership content
- Arrange, facilitate, and manage media briefings with key spokespeople
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across several functional areas on campaigns, product launches, client wins, and milestones
Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public affairs, journalism, or a related field
- 8-10 years of demonstrable experience in the private company space and/or private company investment industry.
- Experience working with clients as they transition into the public markets with a demonstrable understanding of the IPO landscape, process, and ecosystem partners.
- Excellent communication, presentation, relationship management, and writing skills
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to manage multiple stakeholders and multitasking campaigns
- Self-starter with the confidence and ability to manage initiatives and come up with new ideas

The base pay range for this role is $111,000 - $150,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
