Solovis Associate
Nasdaq Asset Owner Solutions, comprised of eVestment and Solovis, is looking for a Professional Services Utility Specialist to work with our Asset Owners clients and Professional Services implementation team.
  • This role will serve as a specialist consultant to our implementation teams, assisting with resolving issues varying in complexity as they arise
  • The successful applicant will be flexible, knowledgeable, and willing to handle situations that arise outside of the usual, day-to-day implementation tasks
  • This role will interface with both the implementation team and the client support team in order to deliver success to our clients as they proceed through the stages of implementation, helping to allow for the smoothest transition into a live state possible
Skills and Requirements:
  • At least three years of experience in the asset owner space; experience in fintech preferred
  • Strong technical skills, including an in-depth knowledge of the Solovis product suite, as well as proficiency in Excel (VBA proficiency preferred)
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience working in the investment space and strong understanding of the institutional investment industry and capital markets
  • Ability to work closely with other team members to understand and resolve complex situations
  • Comfortable interacting with clients on an ad-hoc basis
  • Willingness to act as an owner and resolve client implementation issues as they arise
  • Strong communication skills; ability to communicate technical solutions to a variety of groups
Additional job responsibilities:
  • Serve as a primary point of escalation for client issues and unique use cases during implementation
  • Assist with project management and project planning across the professional services implementation team
  • Create and provide documentation and training for internal processes within the team
  • Work with implementation teams to set up integrations and troubleshoot issues with those integrations
  • Assist with reporting solutions for clients
  • Specifics and KPIs
    • Up to half the employee’s time will be spent monitoring the Support queue and performing related tasks as requested by clients, with a focus on more advanced areas of the platform (performance reconciliation, reporting, integrations, liquidity, exposure, Predict, etc)
    • At least half the employee’s time will be dedicated to projects that require a larger or longer-term commitment of time and focus, such as (but not limited to):
      • Client requests that require closer engagement over a longer period, including but not limited to reporting, restructuring, reconciliation, or general consultation and advice
      • Ad hoc internal projects requiring a longer time commitment
      • Cooperation with other Nasdaq Solovis teams, especially Implementation and Product, as needed on new initiatives
      • Other projects where the employee and manager believe that the time spent would be generally beneficial
    • All work will be tracked as Salesforce cases, up to one case per client per day. Alternative ways of tracking work can be discussed
