We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Strategic Finance Director to join our Index Strategy and Finance team. We are looking for a resource to collaborate with Senior management to build a financial story for the business, identify and highlight trends to support business growth, and model growth scenarios. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, quantitative, presentation building and delivery skills, as well as an in depth understanding of the asset management and / or banking industry experience. We are looking for a candidate with creative problem-solving and excellent modeling capabilities. Success in this role relies on the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and work in a dynamic environment.
- Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the index business's growth and profitability objectives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to align financial strategies with business objectives.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and pitches to senior management and partners.
- Communicate complex financial concepts and strategies in a clear and concise manner to both financial and non-financial audiences.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes in the asset management, investment, and banking sectors.
- Leverage industry knowledge to provide strategic recommendations and drive innovation within the index business.

The base pay range for this role is $121,900 - $203,200. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus / commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth.
