Nasdaq is seeking a dynamic and visionary Venture Capital and Partnerships Analyst to lead our efforts in establishing Nasdaq as the premier partner for innovative technology companies. This role involves fostering strong relationships with leading venture capital firms and tech innovators to drive technological advancements and create long-term value for our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage strategic engagements with venture capital firms and technology companies.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for each engagement, involving business leaders in the planning process.
  • Enhance the administration of VC visits and tech company engagements with additional resources to document activities and outcomes.
  • Foster and maintain ongoing relationships with key partners, including A16z, Sapphire Ventures, and Greylock Partners.
  • Drive AI-focused engagements and maintain relationships with targeted companies
  • Organize vendor meetings, document meeting details, and publish results to multiple groups, including agenda information, logistics, and other crucial factors.
  • Integrate software that correlates with the Listing Team Pipeline to prioritize, gain efficiencies, and report on work done with each company.
  • Develop a strong business strategy for each trip, involving business leaders in the planning process.
  • Enhance the administration of VC visits and tech company engagements with additional resources to document activities and outcomes.

Outcomes :

  • Engage with Nasdaq Business and Technology teams to ensure precise portfolio selections map to strategic and technical goals
  • Manage vendor meetings and logistics for numerous events, often involving dozens of companies each month.
  • Assess priorities, gauge interest, and identify a pool of participants that can significantly impact engagement.
  • Manage VC events, vendor R&D, use case development, and contract management.
  • Organize dozens of meetings with Venture Capital firms to curate 4 or 5 companies per VC session
  • Build meeting summary and notes for all relevant engagement
  • Help organize our first Venture Capital engagement strategy by Q2 2025
  • Document meeting details and publish results to multiple groups.
  • Ensure follow-up and VC session action items are organized and executed
  • Qualifications :

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to share information across various groups.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Confluence is a plus
  • Experience with AI RAG tools
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-activity environment.
  • Eagerness to meet new people, both virtually and potentially in person.
  • Experience in managing vendor relationships, preventing audit issues, and handling cloud recurring cost management and POC management.

    The base pay range for this role is $50,100 - $83,400. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus / commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to : skill set, experience, education / training, business needs and market demands.
