Job Description:
We are seeking a creative and innovative Jewelry Designer to join our team. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely or in a hybrid capacity from our Bend, Oregon studio. The ideal candidate will have a strong design background, a passion for jewelry trends, and the ability to translate concepts into beautiful, marketable pieces.
Responsibilities:
- Design original jewelry pieces aligned with Nashelle’s brand aesthetic and values
- Create detailed sketches, CAD designs, and technical drawings for production
- Research current jewelry trends and materials to inspire new collections
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are feasible and maintain quality standards
- Develop seasonal collections for key events like Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and summer launches
- Assist with custom design requests and personalized pieces
- Present design concepts and mood boards to the team for review and feedback
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a jewelry designer with a strong portfolio of work
- Proficiency in design software such as CAD, Rhino, or Matrix
- Strong understanding of materials, gemstones, and jewelry manufacturing processes
- Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially in a remote setting
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with trend forecasting and market research
- Knowledge of ethical sourcing and sustainable jewelry practices
- Background in both fine and fashion jewelry design
