This full-time, school-year, hourly position involves assisting with IEP implementation in both general education and specialized settings.
Responsibilities include maintaining student confidentiality, delivering tailored instruction, fostering student social-emotional and academic growth, implementing behavior plans and IEP accommodations, collecting data on student progress, and collaborating with educators.
This role may involve working directly with an individual student (1:1), providing support in academic classes, or assisting in vocational settings. Specific assignments are subject to change based on student needs. The paraprofessional also performs other reasonable duties as assigned by the Special Education Coordinator or the Director of Student Services.
The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma (or equivalent) with a Massachusetts-endorsed paraprofessional assessment (ParaPro or WorkKeys), completed 48 college credits, or an associate's degree and prior experience with high school students with disabilities.
