Medical Assistant
Nashua Eye Associates, P.A. is searching for a Medical Assistant to assist with various clinical duties to help keep our practice running efficiently. Our Medical Assistants work directly with our Providers to perform tests, update patient histories, and assist in examinations.
Job Duties Include :
- Helping patients with explanation of services
- Verifies patient demographics, medical history and purpose of visit
- Prepares patients for examination by preforming preliminary tests.
- Assists Doctors with office procedures.
- Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; completing diagnostic coding and procedure coding; and keeping patient information confidential.
- Maintains safe, secure and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures and complying with legal requirements.
- Updates knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
- Enhances practice reputation by being open to new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Other duties as needed
