Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome clients and visitors with warmth and professionalism.
Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member.
Schedule appointments and manage provider appointment calendars efficiently.
Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
Process payments and insurance information accurately.
Provide administrative support to clinical staff as needed.
Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred.
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or mental health setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations and demonstrate empathy and understanding towards clients.
Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations is a plus.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards.
