Overnight Pet Sitter

Are you an animal lover looking to make supplemental income doing something you LOVE? We are looking for someone with overnight availability to join our awesome team of dog walkers and pet sitters! This position would require overnight sleepovers at a client's home to take care of, and snuggle with, their fur baby while they're away.

*Please note - while overnight availability is required to be considered for this position, this does not mean you will be scheduled for overnight pet-sitting every night of the week. Our overnight schedule depends solely on the needs of our clients. Some weeks, you may have 5-6 nights of overnight assignments in a row, and other weeks you may have none. Welcome to Nashville Dog Walkers, where pets are family(and so are our people)! Never heard of us? We are an established and growing pet care business located Nashville, TN. Our bones and bacon is providing daily exercise, play, and love for dogs from the comfort of their own home(they got it good, don’t they?). We also provide pet sitting and overnight services for most types of domestic animals including dogs, cats, birds, and more.

Here is WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM NDW:

THE BASICS

- Competitive pay for each overnight completed, including mileage and phone usage reimbursement in addition to tips from clients.

- The bulk of our business is done during "normal business hours" but we are in need of a crew of dedicated evening and overnight sitters looking to make extra money with overnight pet sitting assignments.

- Hired on as a W2 employee from day 1. We DO NOT force our walkers/sitters to work with us as 1099 independent contractors as certain large companies do.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS (what you’ll need to bring to the leash)

IT'S A PHYSICAL JOB, YOU MUST BE:

- Comfortable working with a large variety of dogs of different breeds, ages, weights, and energy levels. (We won’t ever make you walk a dog you aren’t comfortable with.)

- Able to pick up and carry 50lbs

- Able to bend, twist and bend over to pick up after pets. (most of us can’t touch our toes if that helps at all)

- Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.

WE LOOK FOR PEOPLE WHO:

- LOVE and enjoy spending time with animals. We hope this doesn’t come as a surprise!

- LIVE IN OR WITHIN a 15 MINUTE DRIVE OF OUR SERVICE AREA(Nashville and close surrounding areas)

- Have an attentive nature. Must be able to be in tune with your surroundings.

- Understand the importance of good customer relations.

THE MUSTS:

- Must have a reliable, insured vehicle and valid driver's license.

- Must have a working smartphone and internet access. (required for our appointment management and GPS tracking app)

- Must have open availability for weekend appointments.

- Must be 18 years of age or older(required for insurance and bonding)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per day
