In this role you will...
- Completes month end accounting for Nashville Door Closer in accordance with GAAP.
- Adheres to timely performance against financial reporting schedule.
- Performs monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ensures compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
- Assists Regional Controller with annual audits.
- Assist in new system implementation and integration as needed.
- Inputs bills into QuickBooks and conducts weekly AP check runs
- Sends out customer invoices and/or submits them to customer portals
- Collects and monitors customer accounts receivables
- Processes weekly payroll and 401K contributions
- Reviews bank activity and managing cash balances
- Prepares Sales Tax returns
- Issues annual 1099s
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity or acquisitive environment
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- Experience with M&A accounting and post-acquisition integration is highly desirable
