Job Overview
Nashville Fabrication, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting project management activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within scope. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, and a solid understanding of construction processes and project management tools.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination of project activities, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Lead efforts to ensure project setup is completed in timely manner including licensing and contractor pre-qualifications
- Develop and maintain project schedules, tracking progress and adjusting as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Facilitate communication between contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Track and maintain project submittals such as RFIs and shop drawings.
- Monitor project budgets and assist in construction management tasks as needed.
- Participate in regular project meetings, providing updates on progress and addressing any issues that arise.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project coordination or a related field within the construction industry.
- Experience with steel fabrication and construction is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and understanding of schematics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and be comfortable learning and adapting to new software.
- Familiarity with Tekla PowerFab, Bluebeam, Procore, and other relevant software is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- A solid understanding of construction management principles is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
