GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
As the Fertility Nurse Manager at Nashville Fertility Center, you will lead and manage all clinical teams, ensuring exceptional patient care, fostering teamwork, and proactively managing clinical operations. This leadership position combines direct and indirect patient care responsibilities, requiring a balance of clinical expertise, managerial skills, and a patient-centered approach to delivery of care. You will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and support staff to maintain high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency within the fertility center.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
· Leadership and Team Management:
* Lead and manage all clinical teams, including clinic and IVF nurses, medical assistants, phlebotomists, and sonographers, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
* Provide direction, support, and mentorship to clinical staff, promoting professional growth, job satisfaction, and employee engagement.
* Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members, promoting a cohesive and positive work environment.
* Maintain clinical staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training.
* Maintain nursing staff results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
· Patient Care Coordination:
* Oversee the coordination of patient clinical care activities, ensuring that all aspects of the patient experience meet or exceed established standards of care.
* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop individualized care plans, monitor treatment progress, and address patient needs and concerns.
* Provide direct patient care as needed, including conducting clinical assessments, administering medications, and performing procedures within the scope of practice.
· Clinical Operations Management:
* Proactively manage clinical operations to optimize efficiency, productivity, and resource utilization while maintaining a focus on patient safety and satisfaction.
* Develop and implement protocols, policies, and procedures related to nursing practice, patient care, and clinic operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
* Monitor key performance indicators, analyze data trends, and implement process improvements to enhance the quality and effectiveness of clinical services.
· Quality Assurance and Compliance:
* Maintain nursing operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational and personnel policies and procedures.
* Investigate and resolve patient care management problems, relaying outcomes to the Administrative Director.
* Collaborate with the quality assurance team to develop and implement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient safety, clinical outcomes, and overall service excellence.
· Patient Advocacy and Education:
* Serve as a patient advocate, addressing patient concerns, facilitating access to resources, and promoting informed decision-making throughout the fertility treatment process.
* Provide patient education and counseling on fertility treatments, medications, procedures, and lifestyle factors, empowering patients to actively participate in their care.
* Foster a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families, offering emotional support, guidance, and encouragement during challenging times.
· Clinical and IVF Support
* Provide direct nursing care by covering shifts for both clinic and IVF nurses as needed, ensuring continuous patient care and operational efficiency.
· Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
· Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
· Current registered nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Tennessee.
· Minimum of 5 years of nurse management experience.
· Preferred 2 years in a reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI) setting.
· Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with a patient-centered approach to care delivery.
· Knowledge of infertility treatments, reproductive technologies, and related medical terminology.
· Proficiency in electronic medical records systems and basic computer applications.
· Ability to handle stressful situations with a willingness to learn and adapt.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
