We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales BDC (Business Development Center) Manager to lead and build our BDC team, drive customer engagement, and maximize sales opportunities.
Job Summary:
The Sales BDC Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the dealership’s Business Development Center, focusing on inbound and outbound lead management, customer follow-ups, and appointment setting to support the sales team. This role involves coaching and managing a team of BDC Representatives to ensure high performance and conversion rates while maintaining excellent customer service standards. The BDC Manager will report directly to the Internet Sales Manager within the department.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead & Manage the BDC Team: Hire, train, and mentor BDC Representatives to enhance their skills in handling customer inquiries, scheduling appointments, and following up on leads.

Optimize Lead Management: Oversee inbound and outbound calls, internet leads, and customer follow-ups to maximize showroom visits and sales conversions.

Monitor & Improve Performance: Track department KPIs, including appointment show rates, lead conversion rates, and customer engagement metrics, ensuring goals are met.

Collaborate with Sales Management: Work closely with the Internet Sales Manager and sales managers to align BDC strategies with dealership sales objectives.

Develop Effective Scripts & Processes: Implement and refine phone, email, and text communication strategies to enhance customer interactions.

Ensure CRM Utilization: Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the dealership’s CRM system to improve follow-up efficiency.

Enhance Customer Experience: Provide a high level of customer service and ensure that all BDC interactions contribute positively to the dealership’s reputation.

Drive Department Performance: Utilize reporting and analytics to assess BDC success and implement improvement strategies to increase efficiency and revenue.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in a dealership BDC, automotive sales, or customer service management role preferred.

Strong leadership and coaching abilities with a track record of improving team performance.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in CRM systems, lead management tools, and Microsoft Office.
