Job Title: Premium Experience Team Member, Part-Time

Department: Premium Seats

Job Reports to: Manager, Premium Service

 

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Premium Seats Experience Team Member will be an essential part of the event experience in premium areas during events and games and will help build memories to last a lifetime.
  • They will exude the facility’s Gold Standard of Service to provide a safe, clean, comfortable, professional environment for guests and staff alike while building lasting memories for all.
  • Provide quality guest service and assistance to premium clients and guests.
  • Inspect Premium Areas prior to and during event, looking for safety hazards, facility issues, housekeeping needs and immediately report any found issues to Premium Seats Manager on duty.
  • Respond to event night calls in premium areas for issues and identify opportunities to make lasting memories for our guests.
  • Remain attentive to the needs and professionally responsive to the demeanor of all guests providing proactive assistance to all with the highest level of customer service.
  • Identify, receive, and quickly act upon requests or complaints from premium guests; refer serious problems to Premium Manager or Guest Services Team Supervisor on Duty or Public Safety Department, as appropriate.
  • Detect unauthorized persons and violators of Premium Suites and Clubs and report and handle appropriately.
  • Retain an extensive knowledge of Arena’s Premium Suites and Clubs (or other facilities as needed), seating sections, key venue personnel identity, policies, and emergency activity procedures.
  • Responsible for clearing and closing each premium space at the end of each event (up to 1 hour post event)
  • Review post-event summaries and work with Premium Seats and other internal parties to ensure issues are logged and addressed and that necessary adjustments and improvements are made.
  • Work cooperatively with all event night staff across the facility
  • Attend Premium Service training, as requested.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
  • Required to work long hours on event days.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Four-year (4) bachelor’s degree in business or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Must have three to five (3-5) years of experience in the hospitality or entertainment industry.
  • Must have a positive attitude, excellent time management, interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to clearly, effectively, cooperatively, and professionally interact with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Team player with the ability to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a friendly and professional manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and to self-motivate.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license. Possess a suitable driving history and be insurable by Powers Management’s insurance carrier.
  • As a condition of employment, qualified applicants will be subject to a background investigation, including a criminal history check, previous employment verification and character references.

 

Essential Physical Functions:

 

  • Working under extreme deadlines under pressure.
  • Required to work long hours on event days.
  • Ability to clearly communicate with Guests and Team Members.
  • Capable of sitting, standing and walking for continuous periods of time.
  • Ability to see and respond to unsafe situations and to enforce policies.
  • Excellent speaking and listening skills, requiring the perception of speech.
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures, including in and around an ice rink.

 

Equipment Used:

  • Must have a basic knowledge of technology, including computers, radios and hand-held devices.
  • Ability to use other equipment including, but not limited to, ticket scanners, security wands, x-ray machines.
