This is a full-time, permanent opportunity within the Quality Assurance department, specifically focusing on the inspection and management of center labels and stamper inventory. The position ensures that customer specifications and company standards are met while maintaining accuracy and quality throughout the vinyl record production process.
Responsibilities:
Ensure the quality and accuracy of center labels by inspecting for visual defects, alignment, and overall adherence to specifications.
Manage stamper inventory, ensuring all stampers are correctly labeled, stored, and recorded in the ERP system.
Receive and input center labels and stampers into the ERP inventory system, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
Assist in monitoring and reporting process performance, focusing on center label application and stamper usage by collecting data and preparing relevant statistical reports.
Maintain documentation control/retention systems for center labels and stampers.
Ensure outgoing finished vinyl products meet customer specifications, particularly in terms of label quality and alignment.
Assist in identifying, recommending, and monitoring corrective and preventive actions related to center labels and stampers.
Participate in internal quality audits, specifically focusing on center label and stamper processes.
Collaborate with production and scheduling teams to address quality issues related to center labels and stampers in a timely manner.
Support continuous improvement efforts by contributing insights and solutions to enhance the quality and efficiency of the center label and stamper processes.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor, or as required by operational needs.
Physical Demands:
Required to stand for long periods of time
Involves repetitive motions
Must be able to lift up-to 50lbs occasionally
Engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers
Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather conditions
Adaptable to relative sound pressure levels
