POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Network Administrator to join the club. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure and end user environment ensuring the availability, security, and performance of all systems. This role requires a combination of technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication to support our organization’s technology needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Primary duties include maintenance of computer networks, hardware, software, and other related systems, user helpdesk tickets
- Works closely with users to identify potential issues and fix existing problems
- Provides technical support of NSC’s network environment by identifying network requirements, installing network equipment, maintaining upgrades and monitoring network performance
- Work cross departmentally on larger scale projects for club
- Configure and maintain Cisco ISE and Cisco Firepower
- Identify, track, and manage network assets and infrastructure; includes VMs, switches, routers, firewalls, modems, fiber optic cables, wireless access points, network cables, and telephone infrastructure
- Diagnoses and resolves issues with VLANS, wired/wireless networks
- Resolves technical and/or operational network issues
- Responds to unplanned events that adversely affect the network or computing environment
- Determines hardware or software requirements related to systems and network changes and works to implement improvements
- Work after hours and weekend Soccer matches and Events as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 5 years experience in IT administration
- Strong understanding of network hardware, infrastructure and ability to provide end user support
- Experience implementing, administering and troubleshooting network devices, including WAPs, routers, switches, and controllers
- IP Networks, Cisco, Routing Protocols, LAN/WAN System Configurations, Firewalls, VPNs, Office 365, Windows Server, VMware
