What are the responsibilities and job description for the Game Day Promotions Team position at Nashville Sounds Baseball Club?
Position Overview:
The Nashville Sounds are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to assist with the execution of game day entertainment at Nashville Sounds home games and events. The ideal candidates will display effective communication skills, a fun and outgoing personality, and can excel in a fast-paced team environment. This position plays an integral role in enhancing the game day experience for fans through pre-game, in-game, and post-game activations. The nature of this role requires being available for Nashville Sounds home games and other organizational events - so flexibility on working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is necessary.
Job Responsibilities:
· Welcome fans to First Horizon Park and distribute giveaways at gates.
· Select Nashville Sounds fans to participate as contestants for inning break promotions.
· Game day prep and execution of props and prizing for pre- and in-game promotions.
· Participate as runners in the Country Legends Race mascot costumes.
· Assist with execution of post-game activities including but not limited to t-shirt tosses, Round the Bases, and catch on the field.
· Assist other departments as needed to ensure successful game day operations.
· Provide superior customer service to all fans at Nashville Sounds home games, community appearances and other First Horizon Park events.
Qualifications and Requirements:
· Flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings, and holidays from March to September.
· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time with exposure to outdoor elements.
· Comfortable working in a loud environment amongst large crowds.
· Positive and friendly personality with good verbal communication skills.
· Ability to work in a team environment while adhering to directions and guidelines from a supervisor.
· Live in Nashville, TN or the middle Tennessee area.
