What are the responsibilities and job description for the Merchandise Associate (Seasonal Part Time) position at Nashville Sounds?
This Merchandise Associate is a paid part-time seasonal game day position for the 2025 season at First Horizon Park for the Nashville Sounds. We are looking for highly personable, energetic, and attentive people to assist our fans with any needs they may have while shopping in the store. This position is game day only with shifts lasting 4 - 5 hours.
Job Description:
- Ring up transactions for customers
- Appropriately greet guests and answer questions they have about merchandise.
- Restock hats, apparel and novelties when needed.
- Follow all policies and procedures of the organization and ballpark
- Be friendly, upbeat, respectable, and personable to guests at all times
- Be aware and attentive to all guests needs and safety
- Handling guest issues according to ballpark guidelines and code of conduct
- Must be able to work weekends.
Qualifications:
- 16 years of age and authorized to work in the United States
- Lives in Nashville, Tennessee, or the middle Tennessee area
- Positive, upbeat, respectful, and friendly personality
- Team player attitude and willingness to work within a team environment
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact with a diverse group of guests in a friendly and positive manner
- Physical requirements include the ability to stand 5 hours at a time and walk up and downstairs
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays within the months of April through September.
- Work shifts that could be up to 5 hours
- Pays $13 per hour
