About the Role
This position involves analyzing specifications, setting up and operating machine tools, and fitting and assembling parts to create and repair dies, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and machinists' hand tools. You'll also be responsible for assisting in troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment, including PLC-controlled machinery, hydraulic and mechanical presses, and various welding systems.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with expertise in problem-solving, reading blueprints, and performing mathematical calculations. They should also be able to operate and maintain tool and die shop equipment, including inspection tools, manual lathes, and mills.
Key Responsibilities
