We provide paid clinical supervision for pre-licensure clinicians, a yearly continuing education/materials stipend, paid trainings in evidence-based practices, paid orientation to the position, flexible scheduling with work from home and telehealth options, and our administrative staff provides insurance credentialing and support in client management, scheduling, and billing. PTO and benefits are also available for full-time staff.
The primary function of this position is to manage and run a statewide warmline to meet the needs of Evidence Based Home Visitors, Early Childhood Educators, and Child Welfare workers with questions and concerns about needs related to Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health.
Reports to: Early Childhood Program Coordinator
Primary Responsibilities
- Utilizing appropriate screenings and assessments, provide virtual and telehealth consultation to early childhood workforce statewide for 30 hours of scheduled availability weekly.
- Provide brief intervention and psycho-education reIated to IECMH through daily functions of Warmline Consultation.
- Maintain coherent and timely documentation and data collection on consultations to provide evidence of utilization, outcome, and impact of warmline functions.
- Engage in state and national trainings on best-practice for IECMH Consultation as deemed necessary.
- Facilitate connection between consultees and Referral Coordinator to ensure coordination of care as needed.
- Collaborate with team members and outside agencies to assist in the development of IECMH toolkits, trainings, and resources.
- Ensure consistent contact with organizational representatives to ensure organizational satisfaction and rapport.
- Provide training and technical assistance as needed to support awareness and utilization of Warmline Consultation.
- Collaborate with the Director of Statewide Initiatives and Executive Director in the implementation and ongoing evaluation of the Warmline process and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:
- Master's in Social Work or related discipline.
- Must be eligible to obtain temporary licensure within six months of hiring.
- Must be committed to seeking independent licensure within a reasonable timeframe.
- Must have experience with Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health, clinical assessment, and diagnosis.
- Experience working with diverse cultures and backgrounds.
- Proficiency in Microsoft OFFICE, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Clinical experience is required.
- Previous experience with IECMH preferred.
- Experience with Consultation preferred.
- LMSW or related licensure is preferred.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills reflecting professional knowledge and demeanor in all forms of communication.
- Ability to assess need and risk, determine next steps and course of action for referral and or brief interventions, psychoeducation for consultees.
- Ability to remain calm and effectively manage crisis situations.
- Capacity to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team.
- Capability to collect data, evaluate data collected, ability to report out findings, and engage in appropriate feedback.
