Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Area and Operation Managers to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain integrity and professionalism in all interactions.
- Utilize power and manual tools safely for irrigation installation and maintenance.
- Monitor, test, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems, including pipe and valve placements.
- Conduct minor hardscape installations and periodic property maintenance.
- Inspect and plan upgrades for client irrigation systems, ensuring detailed records are kept.
- Care for company equipment, tools, and vehicles, maintaining a clean and organized job site.
- Forecast equipment, labor, and material needs for efficient production.
- Meet production and maintenance schedule deadlines while delivering excellent customer service.
- Track materials and time on service work tickets, submitting them daily.
- Attend training classes and seminars as requested by management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the landscape industry with a background in horticulture.
- At least 2 years of irrigation experience.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Proficiency with trenchers, multi-meters, wire locators, ditchers, and pipe sizing.
- Valid driver's license and current auto insurance coverage.
- Self-motivated with strong leadership skills and professional demeanor.
- Detail-oriented with critical thinking skills and a focus on quality results.
- Well-organized with strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Experience in project management, organizing, and managing maintenance schedules.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, taking ownership of work and responsibilities.
- Understanding of landscape and irrigation plan specifications and technical procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and occasionally holidays if necessary.
