Nasoya is hiring an Electrician to be responsible for working with Manager to optimize plant and production lines efficiency through the maintenance of plant utilities including compressed air production, steam generation, potable water system, local ventilation, utility and process pumps and positive displacement blowers, compactors.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Daily maintenance of steam generating equipment, including collecting samples and conducting tests to correct supply water quality, adjusting water conductivity, manually supplying water softening systems
Daily monitoring of HVAC function, adjustments as needed
Daily monitoring and maintenance of ammonia and Freon systems
Daily monitoring and maintenance of potable water system
Daily monitoring and maintenance of hot water system for processing and sanitation
Request parts and services in timely manner
Maintain documentation for installation, maintenance and troubleshooting procedures for reference purposes
Actively participate in all planned service done by contractors
Complete all scheduled maintenance of equipment in timely manner with high quality: water, compressed air, steam, roof top ventilation system, process pumps, heat exchangers
Schedule and complete all repairs as required, requesting support as needed
Replace utility and process pumps and motors, refrigeration fans and drives, valves and drive belts, positive displacement blowers and airlocks
Repairs of compactors and presses
Reduce spending by rebuilding pumps and pump stations, valves and fans
Efficient and knowledgeable support of production processing and packaging when needs arise
Other duties or projects as assigned
Skills/Qualifications:
Journeyman license required
3-5 years of utilities maintenance
Steam Plant Operator License preferred; HVACR Certification strongly preferred
Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, computer printouts, system requirements and programs, contracts, manuals
Comprehensive knowledge of the standard principles and concepts of mechanical design
Comprehensive knowledge of refrigeration and HVAC
In-depth knowledge of fluid power, heat transfer, pumps and valves, and internal processes in plant utility equipment
Knowledge of high and low voltage wiring, welding and fabrication, hydraulics of presses and compactors
Knowledge of CMMS
High energy, productive, team player
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate effective listening skills
