We are seeking a highly qualified Human Resources Manager to join our team with primary HR responsibilities for our manufacturing team. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of HR policies and procedures, including but not limited to benefits administration, employee relations, employment law, HR operations, labor laws, and human resources policies.
Your primary goal will be to attract, hire, and retain the best talent in the industry while maintaining compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. You will use your expertise daily in areas such as employee relations, employment law, HR operations, and policy development. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will manage employee relations and collaborate effectively with other departments. Proficiency in HR-related software and bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal) are also required.

Responsibilities
- Policy Development and Compliance: Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures in alignment with relevant laws and company goals.
- Talent Acquisition: Oversee the recruitment and hiring process, including creating job postings, screening resumes, interviewing candidates, and onboarding new hires.
- Employee Relations and Performance Management: Manage employee relations by addressing conflicts, administering disciplinary actions, and conducting performance evaluations to foster a positive work environment.
- Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off, ensuring accurate communication and compliance.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with all legal and organizational requirements. Generate labor reports for operational managers and provide actionable recommendations on workforce management (hiring, retention, and terminations).
- Strategic Workforce Planning: Collaborate with operational managers to analyze workforce data, identify trends, and propose strategic staffing solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Bilingual Communication: Serve as a bilingual resource for HR communications, ensuring clarity and inclusivity in both English and Spanish for verbal and written interactions.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs, organize professional development programs, and support career progression initiatives for employees within the manufacturing team.
- Employee Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction, engagement, and retention, tailored to the unique needs of the manufacturing environment.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to labor laws, OSHA standards, and company safety policies. Partner with managers and employees to minimize risks and address compliance issues proactively.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on HR trends and best practices to enhance policies, processes, and employee experiences, driving organizational excellence.
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- PHR or SPHR certification
- Experience in the Manufacturing industry
- Experience with HRIS systems and other HR-related software
- Experience managing a team of HR professionals
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on HR operations and employee relations
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including affirmative action and labor laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary : $80,000 - $110,000
