Job Summary
As a Commissions Team Analyst, you will be handling the end-to-end producer’s compensation payment process. In this role you will balance, process, and reconcile daily files to ensure timely and accurate commissions are sent to producers. You will be performing quality checks to ensure process runs smoothly. You will field inbound phone inquiries regarding commissions and payments details and process routine and complex transactions pertaining to producer/IMO commissions. Conduct 1099 & W2 tax form and file reviews & collaborate with other areas to ensure timely and accurate tax forms/files. Principal Duties And Responsibilities
- Communicate through e-mail and by phone with producers to recover commissions, establish payment plans, engage collection agencies, etc.
- Responsible for processing and/or processing financial and administrative transactions in support of producer and IMO compensation.
- Develop, document, implement and manage financial control procedures
- Provide timely, friendly, and accurate customer service. Field phone calls and manage call work/ research regarding compensation and payroll.
- Collaborate/manage relationship with third party vendor, in support of commission payment process
- Perform account balancing & reconciliation
- Clearing and documentation of outstanding suspense items
- Review Tax forms and files to ensure accuracy in reporting
- Respond to tax inquires and research
- Organize tasks and prioritize items based on level of importance
- Work in a team environment
- Perform miscellaneous duties as required by management
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Experience in collections/recovery type work preferred but not necessary
- Skill and ability to grasp and learn new concepts and technologies

- Applicant should have a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Business Management, or related field. College degree may be substituted with the appropriate combination of education and experience
- Basic problem-solving skills
- Proficient PC skills, emphasis on MS and MS Excel as well as be able to use a 10 key calculator
- Basic accounting skills (credits/debits)
- Data entry accuracy
