Information Technology Intern
Internship Assignment/Responsibilities
In this role you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with all aspects of a projects Life cycle from an IT & business perspective working alongside other PMs on currently in force or newly forming projects. This position will help you gain valuable insight on directing, overseeing, monitoring, and reporting on various IT and/or Business-related projects. The Project Manager will collaborate with project stakeholders and implement the project workplan to achieve project objectives. The Project Manager will lead daily Agile Scrum standup meetings (if applicable) and help identify and resolve project team issues. This position will assist project resources to analyze project needs, define requirements, develop user stories, develop and execute test plans, develop and maintain project documentation, and report (written and oral) project progress to stakeholders.
The candidate would also learn the important role IT plays in the success of a project through effective management techniques and best practices. Additionally, there would also be an introduction to our PM Checklist, SDLC process, audit controls and Project close out procedures that Project managers are responsible and/or accountable for.

Necessary skills:
- Applicants should be pursuing a bachelor’s degree (also planning to seek a PMP certification)
- Possess proficient and professional verbal and written communication skills essential to interacting with all levels of Nassau management as well external partners / suppliers.

- Self-starter that is not afraid to ask questions
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to manage multiple assignments/responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
