At NASTECH CONSULTING, we are seeking a highly skilled Operations Director to oversee the maintenance of our departments in proper and safe condition. This includes ensuring environmental compliance and overseeing programs to safeguard personnel, preserve facilities, and promote good housekeeping.
The ideal candidate will manage the overall activities of assigned operations to ensure proper workflow, maintenance of production schedules, acceptable quality levels, and inventory levels. They will utilize facilities, workforce, and analysis of methods and materials to achieve economic operating cost using team management concepts and administration of work rules.
This role involves managing planning and production to direct production scheduling and productions to ensure efficient production schedules, economic operating efficiencies, and process capabilities, as well as maintenance of current quality systems. The Operations Director will work closely with QA, QC, and engineering teams to manage these aspects.
In addition, the successful candidate will develop and implement annual budgets, quality programs, and productivity improvement plans. They will conduct performance reviews of subordinates and develop and maintain training programs to support business growth.
Maintaining communications and coordination with other managers within plant operations is also essential for this role.
