Position: Enterprise Agile Coach
Location: Hybrid, Los Angeles, CA (Monterey Park) once a week.
Duration: 1 year, most likely extending another year
Required skills:
- 8 years performing a variety of agile related roles.
- 4 years as an Enterprise Agile Coach in an enterprise-wide environment which have implemented scaled Agile frameworks. Empowering Agile teams to achieve sustainable delivery of successful high-quality software solutions and products. Facilitating, leading, training, and coaching to drive Agile transformations within enterprise organizations.
- Strong understanding the tools, skills, and techniques needed to coach Agile teams. Coach Agile teams to understand what improvements are necessary to become high-performing. Also, do individually mentorship with team members and leaders
- Value realization - strong ability to identify the benefits provided by a proposed user story or feature relative to the effort that it will require from the team in order to drive the effective prioritization of work to maximize the benefits delivered by the team to the customer
- Agile tools - knowledge of tools such as ADO, Jira, etc. Since Sempra/SoCalGas uses ADO, this resource should be well-versed in ADO or at least willing/eager to learn the tool
- Agile facilitation / training strong understanding of group facilitation tools and techniques for effectively designing meetings and workshops that both engage the entire audience and drive towards agreed upon outcomes. Develop Agile practices/concepts training/workshop materials such as story-writing workshops, development/engineering practices, testing practices, etc. Framework-specific training: Scrum, Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe )
Certifications (not required, but nice to have)
- Agile coaching certified professional (ICP-ACC) or equivalent
- Certified Product Owner or Certified Scrum Master
- SAFe certification (SPC)
