Responsibilities
- Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status
- Document all problems and assists in their resolution.
- Resource will be required to lead and perform hands on testing of business reports and data feeds that flow into and out of the general ledger system
- Responsible for providing inputs to Test Strategy document(s), Test Plan(s), Testing Tracker(s), Test Execution Status Reports, and Defect Reports
- Coordinate process team input into testing deliverables
- Responsible for creating and executing test scripts, reviewing test scripts written by offshore team, and KT to offshore team to avoid any knowledge gaps
- Manage day-to-day activity of onshore and offshore testers, including manual and automated testing
- Ensure testing is on schedule and escalate any issues/concerns
- Ensure defects are assigned and being worked on
- Understanding of end-to-end testing cycles using agile and waterfall methodologies
- Hands-on experience in driving the QA release cycle End to end, defect reporting.
- Hands-on work experience in preparing test plans, test scripts, and requirements traceability matrix
- Experience analyzing ETL mapping documents
- Create and execute strategies and test cases for applications that use ETL components
- Data warehouse testing experience
- Experience testing Waterfall/Agile Development Projects
- Experience testing mission critical Financial Applications
- Hands on experience in relational databases and database architecture
- Hands on experience interpreting and understanding data models and ER diagrams
