Responsibilities
- Assist chefs and cooks with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Ensure all food safety protocols are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
- Help with catering events by preparing food items as directed by the culinary team.
- Stock and organize kitchen supplies to ensure efficient workflow during service.
- Support the cooking staff by providing assistance during meal service as needed.
- Participate in maintaining inventory levels of kitchen supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
