As a Server, you will take orders, serve food and beverages, and assist in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within the café.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly manner, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, ensuring all customer requests are met.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while checking on customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, utensils, and dining areas by sanitizing surfaces regularly.
- Assist in food handling and preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any issues that may arise.
- Handle basic math calculations for order totals and payments efficiently.
- Uphold high standards of food safety and sanitation practices throughout the café.
Skills
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
- Experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
