Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels to ensure availability of ingredients.
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink offerings.
- Adhere to all food safety and handling regulations to ensure the health and safety of guests.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure timely service for food orders.
- Assist in setting up for special events or banquets as required.
Experience
- Previous experience in bartending or a related role in a restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of drink recipes, brewing techniques, and cocktail presentation is advantageous.
- Proficiency in basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management is essential.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is required.
- Experience in catering or banquet services is a plus but not mandatory.
