We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong background in the food and beverage industry. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating an enjoyable atmosphere for our guests, serving drinks, and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink selections.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, processing payments using the Aloha POS system.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items during busy periods, especially during catering or banquet events.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while serving drinks.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to efficiently serve multiple customers during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Bartender in a nightclub, restaurant, or fine dining establishment is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience with Aloha POS or similar systems is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits; ability to create unique drink recipes is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
- A passion for the food service industry with an understanding of catering and banquet operations is beneficial.
