In this role you will advance semiconductor innovation by developing sophisticated virtual platform models that enable early architectural exploration and validation of next-generation chip designs.
Every day you will consult with users and assist in creating and optimizing platform-level models, developing new IP components and integrating virtual platforms with RTL environments. Additionally supporting and recommending the right platforms and tools for the user design under test (dut) and advance America's semiconductor capabilities.
To thrive in this role you must combine deep architectural modeling expertise with strong system-level understanding, demonstrating mastery of virtual platforms while delivering innovative simulation solutions.

Develop virtual platform architectural models
Create new IP components for platforms
Implement SystemC-based solutions
Interface virtual platforms with RTL
Optimize simulation environments
Support architectural exploration
Guide platform selection decisions
Drive modeling methodology improvements
Collaborate on design architecture
Manage technical documentation
Required Skills and Experience:
Master's degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science
7 years architectural modeling experience
Expert knowledge of SystemC
Strong background in virtual platforms (Qemu, Simics, Virtualizer)
Experience with RTL integration
Expertise in design architecture
System-level modeling capabilities
Excellence in performance optimization
Strong analytical abilities
Technical communication skills
