As the Director of Operational Excellence (Oncology), you will lead transformative initiatives to optimize high-throughput diagnostic processes, enhancing efficiency and competitiveness of Natra’s commercial oncology tests. This role offers the opportunity to drive innovation in laboratory automation, workflow optimization, and team management, directly impacting the company's ability to adapt to its rapidly growing oncology market..Responsibilities : Lead high-impact projects to optimize and scale Natera’s high-throughput on-market commercial oncology product line.Expert in high-throughput test development and lab automation Manage teams doing development and VnV to enable product updates / optimizations for on-market products.Drive innovation in workflow optimization and automation; collaborate with operations, product management and other cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards, working with Lab Directors, QA and Regulatory Affairs as appropriate.Qualifications : Ph.D / BS / MS in Molecular Biology / Biochemistry or related field Proven track record in development and launch of high throughput NGS diagnostic testsExtensive experience in managing high-throughput laboratory processes and automation systems.5 years managing R&D teamsDemonstrated knowledge of regulatory requirements in the biotech and healthcare industries.Experience with multi-omics test systems is a plusSkills : Process OptimizationProject ManagementTeam LeadershipAnalytical ThinkingStrategic PlanningCross-functional CollaborationProblem-solvingCommunicationRegulatory ComplianceRisk ManagementThe pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
