***There is a $10,000 sign on bonus for full time LPN’s and a $5,00 sign on bonus for part time LPN’s***
Description: The Licensed Practical Nurse II is a care provider who assumes responsibility and accountability for their patients within the limits of their education and the Nurse Practice Act taking into account the individual patient’s special physical or age-related needs. The limits of the Licensed Practical Nurse’s responsibility as defined by hospital policy (see Generic Structure Standards) in keeping with the New York State Code, Rules and Regulations, and the NYS Education Department.
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program or completion of required components to satisfy LPN licensing examination.
- Valid NYS registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six (6) months of hire or transfer.
- Completion of IV course & blood administration course within three (3) months of hire or transfer.
- Prefer one (1) or more years experience in an acute care hospital or previous experience in an acute healthcare setting.
Status: 9:45am – 10:15pm (36 hours)
