Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our property management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. This role requires proficiency in various bookkeeping tasks and a strong understanding of accounting principles.
Duties
- Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ensure accurate data entry and structured record-keeping.
- Maintain tenant ledgers and track rental payments.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Assist in budgeting processes by providing necessary financial data and insights.
- Utilize QuickBooks software and for various accounting tasks.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in data entry, general ledger reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliation, budgeting, payroll.
- Familiarity with Tenant Cloud or similar property management software is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy in financial records.
- Must have experience with QuickBooks
