JOB GOAL : To help maximize student learning by working with individuals and small groups to implement material prepared by the supervising teacher or specialist. Paraprofessional Educators implement prescribed instruction to help maximize student learning by working with individuals and small groups.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education : High School diploma or GED
Professional Certification :
Specialized Knowledge :
- Thorough understanding of and commitment to the principles and practices of diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice as they relate to student, staff and community engagement and cultivation
- Adolescent development

Assist supervising teacher in addressing student needs :
Participates as an active member of the Special Needs or Supportive Services Teams, as necessary.
Performs other such duties as assigned by the building principal, supervising teacher, Special Education Coordinator, or Director for Student Services.
