No experience is necessary, On the Job Training will be provided.
Hours of Operation:
Monday - Friday: 8:00am to 7:00pm
Saturday - Sunday: 8:00am to 4:00pm
Full-Time and Part Time Positions Available
The following is an example of both a full-time and part-time schedule working in Urgent Care:
Full-Time
36 hours per week, 11 hour shifts during the week and 8 hour shifts on the weekend
Monday - Friday: 8:00am to 7:00pm
Saturday - Sunday: 8:00am to 4:00pm
- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday
- Weekend On: Saturday and Sunday
- Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday
- Weekend Off: Saturday and Sunday
- Week 3: Monday, Tuesday, Friday

Part-Time
Monday through Friday: 8:30-2:30 (5.5 hour shift) 30 minute unpaid lunch break
SUMMARY: MEDICAL ASSISTANT
This position is primarily responsible for relieving physicians and other medical personnel of administrative and clerical work by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
The Medical Assistant will prepare patients for the health care visit by directing and/or accompanying them to the examination room; verify patient information by interviewing patient; reviewing and/or recording medical history; taking vital signs; confirming purpose of visit or treatment. Enter information into patient medical record by recording information and test results.
Supports patient care delivery by helping health care providers during examinations; preparing laboratory specimens; performing basic laboratory tests on the premises; disposing of contaminated supplies; sterilizing and cleaning medical instruments, exam rooms and common areas; administering medications on the premises as ordered by the physician or physician assistant; drawing blood; preparing patients for testing; changing dressings; and many other medical assisting functions.
Maintain exam rooms by keeping them stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain equipment as necessary. Clean and remove trash from patient exam rooms, restrooms and other common areas.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities. All tasks will be performed under the direction/guidance by the physician or physician assistant.
