We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to become a part of our team! This position requires working up to 3 days per week; at minimum every Friday and Saturday. You will focus on providing high-quality patient care as part of a healthcare team. In addition to primary family medicine, our clinic offers a wide-range of specialized care and services, including nutrition counseling, allergy testing and treatment, aesthetics, laboratory services, x-rays, ultrasounds, occupational medicine, urgent care, mental health counseling, and a full array of procedures.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
- Issue appropriate prescriptions and administer medicine
- Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for the patients
- Comply strictly with medical care regulations and safety standards
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a nurse practitioner/physician assistant
- Knowledge of medical guidelines and procedures regarding examination, therapy, and recovery
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- BSc/MA in Physician Assistant Studies, Health Science or Medical Science
Our clinic is open from 8 am-6 pm Monday - Friday and 8 am-12 pm Saturday. Provider coverage is required for these times. This position will be required to work every Friday and Saturday. Additional days may be negotiated.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
