Customer Service - Cashier/Sales Team Member candidates for our Pleasant Grove/Dallas, Texas location.

What Does a Customer Service - Cashier/Sales Team Member Do?

• Provides exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, greeting and thanking them, and helping with their needs
• Answers phone calls in a polite and timely manner, addressing customer inquiries and providing assistance
• Assists customers in locating products, offering recommendations, and providing personalized information
• Upsells and promotes items to increase overall sales and enhance the customer experience
• Highlights Do It Best reward program to customers, encouraging their participation to foster customer loyalty
• Follows company standards and procedures to ensure efficient operations and meet customer expectations
• Processes checkouts accurately and efficiently, adhering to proper cash handling procedures
• Continuously seeks product and project knowledge to better assist customers and identify unique selling opportunities
• Resolves customer issues with the support and guidance of management
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Performs any other tasks as assigned by supervisors or management
  
  

What Does It Take to Be Successful as a Customer Service - Cashier/Sales Team Member?

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficiency in using computers and operating point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Previous retail or similar experience preferred
• Results-oriented with the ability to serve stores with humility and be a steward of Nation's Best's values
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while remaining adaptable and flexible
• Strong interpersonal skills with the willingness to consistently provide superior customer service skills
• Physical ability to lift and carry items weighing 25-50 pounds, as well as perform tasks like bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching throughout the work shift
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, to accommodate the needs of the business
  
  

Ideal candidates will have open availability to work the following schedule(s) and will average below 30 hours/week.

Monday - Tuesday & Thursday: 1pm to 7pm

Wednesday: 10am - 7pm

Friday: 7:30am to 3pm

• 11am to 7pm
• Candidates who can work the above hours on 2-3 of the days will be considered, but please provide availability to hiring manager upon interview.
