Position Overview:
As the Director of Security, you will be at the forefront of our mission to provide top-tier security solutions. In this pivotal role, you will oversee security operations at one of our client’s Luxury Riverfront Condominiums in the Brickell area. Your focus will be ensuring the safety and security of personnel, our clients, and assets while upholding the highest standards of service and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance security operations across the property.
- Lead and mentor a team of security professionals, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and ongoing guidance.
- Collaborate closely with the client to assess their unique security requirements and tailor customized solutions.
- Continuously assess security risks and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Supervise the implementation of security protocols and procedures, ensuring strict compliance.
- Deliver timely and precise reports to senior management on security operations, incidents, and emerging trends.
- Stay abreast of best practices and advancements to continually elevate our services.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- A minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in private security, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and cultivate a high-performing team.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities, with a relentless focus on customer satisfaction.
- Profound knowledge of security principles, protocols, and best practices.
- Proficiency in utilizing security-related technologies and software.
