Nation Security is seeking an experienced Security Officer to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The ideal candidate will have prior security experience and hold or be eligible for a Potential and Confidential security clearance in Florida. This position requires professionalism, strong observational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities:

• Provide security services and ensure the safety of assigned premises.
• Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent unauthorized access or incidents.
• Respond to security threats and emergencies as needed.
• Maintain detailed incident reports and logs.
• Uphold confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Must have prior experience in security or law enforcement.
• Florida Security License (D License) required; G License preferred.
• Must possess or be eligible for Potential and Confidential security clearance.
• Strong communication and situational awareness skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Holidays
• On call
