Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to oversee the upkeep and repair of various production equipment, including sealers, case erectors, tape machines, and robotics as well as general facility maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting mechanical systems, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on production equipment such as sealers, case erectors, tape machines and robotics.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
- Repair or replace faulty components to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operations.
- Maintain and update maintenance records and equipment logs.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and company policies.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment.
- Perform general facility maintenance tasks, including plumbing, lighting, and structural repairs.
- Work closely with production teams to address equipment issues and improve efficiency.
- Keep an organized inventory of tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with robotics and automated systems is a plus.
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to respond to emergency repairs as needed.
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing setting with exposure to moving machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
- Requires standing, climbing and lifting as necessary.
