What You’ll Do: Your Role as an ESE Teacher
Deliver Individualized & Small Group Instruction
- Provide push-in & pull-out support to ensure students receive specialized instruction.
- Design differentiated lessons that address students' unique learning needs.
- Implement IEPs, accommodations, and modifications to meet student goals.
Coordinate & Implement Special Education Services
- Work closely with administrators, general education teachers, and contract agencies to ensure compliance with IDEA.
- Support IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring.
- Collaborate with related service providers to ensure student needs are met holistically.
Create an Inclusive & Engaging Learning Environment
- Establish a safe, supportive, and culturally responsive classroom environment.
- Utilize data-driven strategies to monitor student progress and adjust instruction.
- Foster positive social-emotional learning and behavior support using PBIS strategies.
Advocate for Students & Families
- Communicate with parents and guardians about student progress and services.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to Special Education.
- Partner with families to create an individualized, student-centered learning experience.
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or Related Field (Required)
✅ Valid Special Education Teaching Certification (Preferred)
✅ 1-3 Years of Special Education Teaching Experience (Preferred)
✅ Experience with Google Suite, Student Information Systems (SIS), & EdTech Tools
✅ Passion for Special Education, Equity, and Student Success
✅ Strong Communication & Collaboration Skills
