QUALIFICATIONS
1-Familiarity with addiction and recovery processes & terminology.
2-If you are in any addiction recovery yourself, we require a minimum of 3 years of continuous sobriety.
3-As an ideal candidate, you need to be passionate about addiction awareness.
4-The candidate needs to be able to commute to our Denver PA office, as needed.
5- Applicant needs to live within a reasonable commute to our Planning Office at 352 Main Street Denver Pa 17517
6-Candidate Needs to be Fully Alcohol Free, Drug Free, and Nicotine Free.
Responsibilities
- Edit and proofread newsletter content for clarity, grammar, and adherence to AP style and Chicago Manual of Style.
- Conduct thorough fact-checking and research to ensure accuracy of information presented.
- Collaborate with writers and contributors to develop engaging and informative articles.
- Maintain consistent communication with the editorial team to align deadlines and content strategy.
- Utilize strong writing and copy-editing skills to enhance the overall quality of the newsletter.
ABOUT US AND APPLYING
At the NAAC, we are building a team of like-minded individuals who enjoy an alcohol-free and drug-free sober lifestyle. We are entrepreneurial-spirited individuals who have come together to address the impact of addiction in all its various forms by sharing our life & work experience, education, and fellowship.
Team member, compensation will be fully revenue based. Compensation will be fully explained during the interview process. This is not a Job offer but rather a Venture offer. As an independent contractor, you will need to be financially stable to participate with us as a startup team venture member.

4. Acknowledge that you understand this position is an Independent Freelance project opportunity, and not a full-time job offer, and that you are financially stable to receive compensation as a percentage of funds raised by the team effort (We will discuss it further during the interview).
5. The PA county in which you reside.
6. State whether you can make meetings at our planning office in Denver, PA as required.

2-The next step will be an invitation to a Zoom meeting that will include a presentation of our vision for the National Addiction Awareness Complex. During the Zoom meeting we will explain the revenue base compensation structure. There will be plenty of time for all your questions to be answered.
3-If we both feel there might be a fit, we will then schedule the onboarding procedures from our Denver, PA Planning Office.
